FISHING

Fishing in reservoirs and rivers is a popular activity for many anglers. One such reservoir is Green Mountain Reservoir, located 16 miles south of Kremmling. These fish include; Lake, Brown, Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout, Kokanee and Northern Pike. There is a $20 bounty on any Northern Pike caught and brought fresh to the Heeney Marina. The other nearby reservoirs are Williams Fork and Wolford. Fly fishing on the Colorado River is a world-renowned experience for anglers seeking to catch trout in breathtaking scenery. The Colorado River runs through several western states, including Colorado, Utah, and Arizona, and offers opportunities to catch rainbow, brown, and cutthroat trout.
